The Boston Political Review is Boston University’s premier political publication founded in 2014.
We are a nonpartisan student-run platform for the BU community to express its voice and to give our readers a refreshing source of unbiased information. We strive to be informed and impartial.
The BPR consists of five sections: Global Politics, U.S. Politics, Local Politics, Social & Business, and Health & Science. In 2020, the BPR launched an additional section, Election Coverage, to provide special coverage on races at the local, state, and federal levels. In 2021, BPR announced its sixth section, Health & Science, to provide accessible information regarding updates to the health and science industries and continue BPR's mission for accessible, nonpartisan news.
Our writing staff strike a harmonious balance between a typical news story and an academic paper as their articles contain elements of traditional student journalism coupled with academic research.
The BPR is committed to creating an educated student body and maintaining a publication with integrity that upholds the key tenets of student journalism.
